Top 5 Favorite Fonts
Before I started my journey as a creative brand designer and social media manager, the only thing I knew about fonts was that they came included on the computer and that I could download new ones from dafont.com. Imagine my surprise when I did a little research on Pinterest and figured out that I can buy fonts! I stumbled across this little site called Creative Market and I’ve been in love ever since.
Now, if you guys aren’t familiar with Creative Market, it’s an online marketplace where independent designers from around the world sell “ready to use” design assets.
I’m truly like a kid in a candy store every time I go to the site!
I’ve purchased many fonts from the marketplace, but I wanted to share some of my absolute favorite fonts at the moment.
Here are my top five favorite fonts for creative entrepreneurs:
Attila is a handwritten and romantic font. It’s my favorite go-to when I’m making sweetly feminine designs like wedding invitations or soft logos designs.
The designer describes this pretty little font as an energetic signature script. I love combining soft and edgy together, so when I came across this stylish font, I was in love.
If this font doesn’t make you think of a beautiful getaway vacation, I don’t know what will. I mean come on guys, the font is literally named Santorini, after the beautiful and serene greek island. I use this font when I want to make a design feel a little more luxurious.
Sanziah is another handwritten romantic script that I love. It’s very soft and feminine yet messy. This font sort of just jumps out of the screen, don’t you think?
